Introduction

I started my mental health career working with developmentally disabled persons while I was in graduate school. This is where my passion for developmental psychology really started. Since completing graduate school in 2002 I have worked in a variety of settings (eg. community mental health, private practice, community college, adult and juvenile detention centers and assisted living facilities) and with a wide range of clients in age, culture and background. I have most recently carved out a special niche with adolescents and young adults, with particular expertise in school related concerns. I also enjoy working with adults in all walks of life.
