Introduction
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Clinical Supervisor, and owner of Second Story Counseling. I am also a recovering perfectionist. Together we will look at your narrative from a new perspective and decide if it is serving you. We can create a Second Story. Although we cannot change the facts, you will heal as you change what you tell yourself about you. This is an amazing process–one that requires an outsider to help you to get very clear and to help you to see your blind spots. I will help you to come to know and love all the parts of yourself–including the parts that have been “orphaned.” I also specialize in relationships. My training in EFT will help us to better understand the difficult people in your life. I enjoy working with motivated couples and helping them to repair their marriages. I am strength-based; I work to identify and build upon what is already going well. I am also trained in EMDR to help my clients process trauma. My husband and I have been married for 36 years and together we have 5 children and 9 grandchildren. I enjoy hiking, playing pickle ball, and spending time in the mountains.
