Introduction

Lisa is a skilled and compassionate trauma therapist with a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Trevecca Nazarene University. She is a board certified Licensed Professional Counselor with a special designation of Mental Health Service Provider in the state of TN (LPC/MHSP), a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional (CCATP), and EMDRIA trained in EMDR and Brainspotting. She works with individual and group formats. Lisa specializes in trauma–including developmental and complex PTSD, anxiety, mood disorders, dissociation, and narcissistic abuse recovery. Before pursuing a career in counseling, Lisa worked in church leadership, gaining a wealth of experience in helping individuals and families navigate difficult situations. As a trauma therapist, she is passionate about working with individuals who have experienced trauma and helping them find healing and restoration. Currently, Lisa is pursuing a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision at Trevecca Nazarene University, where she is continuing to develop her skills and knowledge in the field of counseling. Lisa is dedicated to providing her clients with the highest level of care and is committed to ongoing professional development and education. She continues to pursue education and training in evidence-based interventions to provide the safest environment and promote healing within the context of attuned presence.
