Hello, and welcome! I believe that you are taking one of the bravest steps….making time within your busy life to create space for yourself as you seek change and a greater sense of fulfillment. Have you found yourself struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, or losing your sense of self? Do you find yourself feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, frustrated and end up putting your needs at the bottom of the to-do list? Maybe you find yourself wondering if things could be better, but you are feeling stuck and uncertain as to how to move forward. My goal for your therapy journey is to provide a safe, compassionate space as we identify ways to help you take those steps. I love helping my clients identify and utilize their personal strengths to heal and grow. Creating space to connect and/or reconnect to yourself, while processing your emotions and experiences, can lead to meaningful steps for growth, transition and change. I work with adolescents (16+) and adults who are struggling with depression, anxiety, grief, low self-esteem, trauma and life transitions. I approach every client as a unique individual, utilizing Person-Centered, Solution-Focused and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy approaches to develop a customized treatment plan to align with your values and goals. I believe in the value of connection, and I am dedicated to learning your story and supporting you in gaining coping skills, building healthier patterns, and tuning into your needs. If my approach speaks to you and you’d like to learn more about the next steps in working together, please reach out. I look forward to connecting with you! -Lisa ***** A little bit about me: I have been married for almost 25 years, with 2 amazing daughters, and 2 lovable labradoodles. I'm a Midwest native, long-term PNW and Gig Harbor resident, and find myself near or on the water as often as possible. After finishing my undergraduate Psychology degree at the University of Washington, I started my career as a counselor with individuals within the Worker's Compensation system over the course of many years. Considering myself a life-long learner, I later returned to earn my MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and am truly passionate about helping each of my clients take steps forward in their lives. ***** Payments/Fees: Payment for services are due at the time of the appointment and may be paid via cash, debit or credit card. I am not contracted with insurance plans at this time, however, you may wish to contact your insurance provider to check your out-of-network coverage. I can provide you with a monthly statement or superbill that can include the necessary information for reimbursement. Cancellation Policy: Appointments may be cancelled at least 48 hours in advance. I know that life can sometimes require a reschedule or change to a virtual appointment, but outside of this timeframe, missed appointments or late cancellations will be charged for the full appointment.
