My approach to therapy is collaborative and flexible, and I am dedicated to providing a non-judgmental, supportive, safe and empathetic environment for you as you embark on your healing journey. I believe that you are the expert on yourself and that I am here to walk with you and hold space for you as you navigate this path. From addressing everyday stressors to helping manage the difficult – and sometimes debilitating – symptoms of high-acuity mental health disorders, I work to create a therapeutic relationship that can promote healing and functionality. My practice is inclusive, multicultural, feminist and LGBTQ+ affirming. I specialize in working with individuals dealing with bipolar disorders, schizophrenia spectrum disorders, addiction, and trauma and abuse. I have extensive experience working with veterans, active-duty military personnel and military spouses, as well as those who are justice-involved, previously incarcerated, affiliated or experiencing homelessness. It is important to me to try to understand how biological, socio-cultural and other external and systemic factors might have influenced your mental health and wellbeing. I hope that together we can find ways for you to work through and heal from some of what life has thrown at you. My goal is to help you live the life you want to with hope and fulfillment.
