I come to my career in counseling after a career in the corporate world. I am energized by the work I do now and my own experience of life in a fast paced corporate environment gives me a perspective to many of my clients' lives. I take a directive and active, yet client-centered approach to my work and am eclectic in treatment techniques, primarily relying on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and mindfulness strategies. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree with Honors in English/Creative Writing from Brown University in Providence, RI and a Masters Degree with Highest Honors in Counseling and Psychological Services from Salem State University in Salem, MA.
