The therapies Dr. Black specializes in are biofeedback, ketamine assisted psychotherapy (KAP), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), existential therapy, motivational interviewing (MI), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT),and cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia (CBT-I). She believes the best care comes in the form of healthcare team integration where each person’s unique needs can be addressed in a comprehensive manner. She achieves this through collaboration with the patient and patient’s care team. This approach to care helps her identify the most effective treatment options for mental health and neurological challenges. Dr. Black’s core practice is integrative, whole person health. She achieves this through multidisciplinary techniques and close collaboration with the patient regarding progress and effectiveness of treatment(s), continually making adjustments as needed to achieve the patient’s health goals.
