Lisa is a Nationally Certified Counselor and a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Pennsylvania, Her scope of practice includes seeing clients seeking counseling for anxiety, a desire to create healthy relationships, a need for improved communication skills and reduced conflict, those seeking personal development, and those in transition and seeking support for everyday life stressors. In addition, her niche includes those that are looking for career or sports counseling. Lisa holds certifications as an Emotional Intelligence Trainer, a Myers Briggs Type Indicator Practitioner, a Predictive Index Practitioner and a Certified Daring Way Facilitator, based on the work of Dr. Brené Brown. In her work, Lisa strives to dive deeper with each client, leaning into the strengths that already got them this far. With deep empathy, authenticity and a genuine desire to accompany her clients on their journey, she is beside them in the process of self-discovery and the road to increased self-awareness. Lisa believes people have the ability to change and grow when given the right tools and when they are actively participating in the process. Lisa creates an accepting environment and will meet clients where they are and ignite change when needed, offering support and additional resources. She utilizes an eclectic blend of therapeutic approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, gestalt, yield therapy and psychoeducation.
