Lisa Altemus is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who earned her graduate degree in Clinical Psychology/Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University. Lisa received her undergraduate degree from the University of Southern California. Lisa has worked a Clinical Director and Program Director at several inpatient residential treatment facilities in southern California, providing services for substance abuse and mental health conditions. I provide individual, family and couples therapy. My area of specialization includes Depression, Anxiety, Trauma, Stress Management, Substance Abuse, ADHD, LGBTQ, Family and Parenting Issues. In addition, I work with people to improve their relationships and communication, address occupational concerns and transitions in life. With compassion and understanding, I work with each individual at their pace to help them build on their strengths and attain personal growth. I strive to help clients achieve their goals and provide quality therapeutic services.
