I'm a Certified Gottman Therapist who enjoys working with couples and individuals. I believe that given the right tools, we are all capable of attaining a comfortable level of happiness and fulfillment in life. My role is to help you acquire and sharpen those tools within the shortest possible time frame. I use the Gottman method when working with couples, which combines psychodynamic and research-based techniques to strengthen emotional closeness and intimacy, improved conflict management, create a culture an appreciation and mutual support that honors your life dreams. For me, nothing is more fulfilling than watching a couple learn to share their feelings in a way that they're heard, offer validation and support to one another, strengthen their friendship, rekindle their romance, and rediscover their playfulness. With individuals, I take an eclectic approach, using a variety of therapeutic approaches depending on your needs. These may include, mindfulness, CBT, DBT, Supportive and Psychodynamic forms of counseling. Within a compassionate, supportive environment, we will address whatever challenges brought you to therapy and come up with techniques and a plan to improve your situation. Together, we will set achievable goals that will change as you progress in therapy. Since my background includes a strong grounding in fitness, wellness, and the mind/body connection, I take a holistic approach to health and happiness. I love my work and truly enjoy seeing clients reach their personal goals and find a place of peace, satisfaction, and pleasure in their lives.
