I work with teenagers and adults who are struggling with anxiety, life transitions, self-esteem, disordered eating or eating disorders, as well as cultural minorities struggling with trauma and family conflict specifically in the Asian American community. I use an eclectic approach focusing on and pulling from person-centered, CBT, and DBT. I won't lie to you therapy is hard work. I will challenge your perspectives and thinking, encourage emotional talk and processing, and give you homework to continue the work we do in session. There might be times you say fuck this and you can tell me, but I believe each and every person is fully capable of doing the work and growing in amazing ways.
