You want to live a life of meaning, but all this stuff is just getting in the way, and it’s suffocating. It’s causing crippling anxiety and depression, difficulty sleeping, and you just can’t focus when you need to. At True Joy Counseling, our work is centered around identifying who it is you want to be in the world, learning how to BE that person, and taking action to create that meaning you’re searching for. I take an integrative approach, using evidenced based treatments to guide our work together, such as DBT, ACT, IFS, and a whole lot of humor. More than anything, I believe that we all are doing the best we can with what we know, and we can always know more. This work, as I like to call it, is hard, and it requires thoughtful reflection, and often times, sacrifice. I provide a safe, empathetic, and non-judgmental space for you to reclaim and rediscover who You are and what You are about.
