With over a decade of experience in the clinical field, I specialize in helping individuals recover from narcissistic abuse, childhood trauma, generational trauma, and dual diagnosis. I graduated with honors from Loyola University Chicago in 2011 and am a Certified Codependency Treatment Specialist. Codependency is a common trait among people who have experienced trauma and addiction, and addressing it is central to my work. I work with both teenagers and adults, using a variety of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic theory, Adlerian psychology, attachment-based therapy, and trauma-informed care. Recognizing that trauma is often stored in the body, I incorporate Polyvagal techniques to alleviate some of the physical symptoms associated with trauma. My goal is to help you explore how your Family of Origin history impacts your current life. By processing the past, we can better understand its influence on your present and uncover the reasons behind any destructive patterns. Together, we’ll work to identify and reframe negative thought patterns that may have originated in childhood, guiding them toward a more positive or neutral state. In our sessions, I combine my personal experience and clinical expertise to support you in breaking free from negative cycles. I take a direct yet empathetic approach, challenging you while also offering compassion and support. In today’s fast-paced world, self-care can be difficult, but I encourage you to take the time to focus on your healing. Together, we can make the meaningful changes you’re looking for.
