As a counselor, I serve the individual needs of adolescents and adults throughout their various walks of life. I meet my clients where they are in their emotional journey and help them build solutions and skills to live the life they imagine. I specialize in working with depression, anxiety, and life transitions. I come from a strengths-based philosophy, working with and uncovering tools you already possess. I also incorporate modalities based in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Therapy with me is collaborative, creative, and goal oriented. I know the real work often happens outside of our time, and therefore I will empower you to utilize and try out new skills we learn together. I know making the initial appointment can be overwhelming, but my laid back demeanor and gentle humor will help you feel comfortable and at ease.
