I am committed to guiding individuals through life challenges such as: developing emotional awareness, adjusting to a life change (including surgery, grief & loss, trauma, etc.), mood regulation (anxiety, depression, resentment, etc.), family dynamics, and building identity. I utilize personalized approaches including DBT, Gestalt, somatic processing and Guided Drawing (bilateral) techniques to assist clients in gaining a deeper understanding of themselves, navigating their life with more confidence, fulfillment, and understanding. I get to know my clients and tailor my therapeutic approach to meet their specific needs and goals. I provide a safe, nonjudgmental space so clients can explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences freely. My goal is to empower individuals to become agents of their own healing through developing resilience and confidence. I am a board certified and licensed creative arts therapist. I help adults (18+) that are looking for support while facing life challenges so they may reach a deeper understanding of how it affects them and what can be done to improve their life. I have experience working at private practice, as well as multiple inpatient psychiatric facilities and substance abuse inpatient facilities on Long Island.
