Introduction

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor-1 with over fifteen years of experience in the mental health field. I believe that building a strong, trusting therapeutic relationship based on mutual respect is the foundation for the most meaningful work to be done. I have a relaxed, non-judgmental, conversational approach that encourages clients to feel at ease. I strive to provide support around helping increase awareness and empowering others to make the changes that they need and desire in life. I focus on individualized, strength-based, person-centered treatment and believe that no two individuals are the same, therefore; treatment is tailored to fit individual needs and goals. My treatment methods are eclectic, personalized and incorporate a variety of treatment modalities including CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, Interpersonal Therapy, etc. I specialize in individual therapy and case management for adolescents, transition-age youth and adults with a wide array of mental health diagnoses, co-occurring disorders, individuals struggling with substance and/or behavioral addictions, individuals with past/present legal involvement, and those transitioning from detox/inpatient/ incarceration. I look forward to learning about how I can help you reach your goals! Email contact preferred.
