I’m Linden, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Philadelphia. I specialize in working with LGBTQ+ adults, including transgender, nonbinary, and gender expansive individuals. I earned a Master of Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania in 2006 and have held a clinical license in Pennsylvania since 2014. If you’re exploring your sexual or gender identity, coming out or transitioning, or struggling to cope in an increasingly hostile world, it can feel isolating and draining. You might be carrying shame, fear, or doubt, hiding parts of yourself to please others or to stay safe. Maybe you’re questioning who you are, what you want, or which path to take in the current climate. When these common problems go unspoken and unsupported, the end result is often emotional distress. I provide a safe, judgment-free space for my clients to seek relief, clarity, and a more authentic life. Your unique lived experience will form the foundation of our work together. We’ll take a holistic approach, exploring your current concerns within the broader context of your life, relationships, past trauma, and environment rather than viewing them in isolation. Where appropriate, I incorporate elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness tools. I am a trauma-informed and sex-positive provider. My style is warm, compassionate, and direct. If you’re looking for a place where you can show up fully, I’d be honored to work with you.
