Introduction

Hello! I'm Linda (she/they), a Licensed Professional Counselor with fourteen years of experience in the mental health arena. With two master's degrees (the first in sociology and the second in clinical mental health counseling), specialized training in neurodiversity, and lived experience in my areas of specialty, I focus on helping individuals affected by neurodiversity and LGBTQIA+ concerns. My Expertise Includes: * Neurodiversity: I tailor my approach to your learning style and preferences, finding strategies that work for you. I embrace differences in developmental paths and communication styles. * Transitions: With WPATH training, I offer sensitive and informed support through gender transitions. * ADHD and ASD: I am trained on the master's level to assess and link to appropriate supports. * Post-Traumatic Stress: Helping you manage and work through your trauma and adversities, including addressing microaggressions and discrimination/bias. * Disabilities: Assisting with the complexities of disclosing sensitive information about your disability status, gender, sexual orientation, etc. * Life Navigation: Whether your challenges are career-related or day-to-day, I'm here to help you navigate life more effectively. My Approach Includes: * Writing & Sensory/Movement-Based: We'll explore everything from writing to sensory and movement-based methods to find what resonates with you. * Relaxation & Humor: Techniques to relax and incorporate humor as a therapeutic tool. * Venting & Structured Activity: A safe space for expression and structured guidance. * Psychoeducation: Informative support to understand yourself and your experiences better. * Visual & Experiential Explorations: Creative and engaging methods to facilitate growth. * Narrative Therapy: To deconstruct systems of being that do not service you or your values and goals. * Cognitive and dialectical behavioral therapy: To help you be most effective in everything you want to do. Getting Started: Please use the link to my portal provided below. During this initial contact, kindly provide your insurance information or, if uninsured, your fee requirements.
