Introduction

The struggles of pregnancy, the postpartum period, and parenthood are unique and complex. Often others in your life don’t realize that you are dealing with hormonal changes, physical changes, emotional changes, role changes, relationship changes, pressures or expectations from family, and pressures and expectations from society. As you embark on this transformative experience you may be feeling the urge to heal or prepare mentally and spiritually. Maybe you are feeling in over your head with a pregnancy or parenthood and need somewhere to find clarity and support for this very unique experience. I focus on deep listening, guiding exploration, and functional skills to understand your unique situation and then work together to navigate the parenthood journey with as much joy and ease as possible. I am a PMH-C (perinatal mental health provider) certified by Postpartum Support International in perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. Not only am I trained in perinatal mental health, with years of experience helping people at all stages of the parental journey, I’m also a mother, so I am deeply passionate about improving maternal mental health. I know the journey to and through parenthood can be overwhelming and painful, I also know it can be the most beautiful transformation with adequate support. If you're ready, please reach out to me by phone or email for a free consultation call. As a part of the LGBTQIA+ community, I welcome all families, pregnant people, and parents in my practice.
