Introduction

My journey to becoming a professional counselor started 11 years ago, but my desire to invest in people has been lifelong. I am passionate about helping people learn how to express themselves in a way that can be heard and understood. Being silent, being sarcastic or being angry does not express the heart and without the heart, it is difficult to connect with others in a genuine way. I use evidence based interventions such as CBT, DBT, EFT and EMDR to help improve the way people participate in their relationships. When relationships are going well, then many of the issues such as depression and anxiety tend to decrease.
