Lina Rodriguez is a Licensed Professional Counselor and fourth-year doctoral student in Counseling at the University of North Texas, specializing in play therapy and psychoeducational assessment. Lina has extensive clinical experience working with children, adolescents, and families. Lina integrates child-centered approaches with parent training models like Child-Parent Relationship Therapy. She is passionate about supporting the emotional development of children and fostering strong caregiver-child relationships. Lina also contributes to the field through teaching, supervision, and research focused on play therapy and family connection. Lina was the recipient of the 2025 Outstanding Practitioner award from Chi Sigma Iota Counseling Academic and Professional Honor Society at UNT.
