I am not the type of therapist you see on TV. I don’t use fancy words you can’t relate to. I curse and encourage you to do so too. I’m a therapist who sees a therapist, and I practice what I preach. The tools you will learn in therapy are tools I use myself. I won’t just tell you what you want to hear, which can be difficult but necessary at times. When you’re struggling with a decision, I won’t make it for you. Rather, I’ll empower you to make your own choices. My therapy style is casual and (mostly) unstructured. My clients tell me that I am easy to talk to, and they are often surprised by how comfortable they feel opening up to me. Nothing is off limits in therapy - in fact, part of why you’re here is to talk about things that are normally too uncomfortable to share. I want you to come as you are - no justification needed.
