I want to help you to become the best version of yourself and to help you advance to your highest potential. I believe you don’t change your life by changing your life, you change your life by changing your mind. In other word, changing your perspective on how you respond to life stressors. Your responses will either cause you to be “bitter” or “better”. I want to help you to understand the thoughts and feelings that influence your actions and behaviors, and to help you gain clarity and insight, to painful traumatic emotions. I take a relational approach by creating a non-judgmental, empathic environment for my clients using a client-centered counseling approach. I aim to create a safe place to allow you to face, embrace and process any bottled-up feelings you may have. I use a person-centered integrative therapy approach with a blend of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, which addresses how your thoughts, feeling and actions are connected. Solution Focused Brief Therapy that focus on your strength and skills and not your problem to help you reach your future goals, and Motivational Interviewing techniques to help you with any ambivalent you may have about making substantial changes in your life.
