Introduction

At Like a Phoenix, we want to show every person we serve, his/her inner strength. We believe everyone has potential. Many of us have been, at some point in our lives, discouraged by some unsuccessful experiences. However, we have a deep faith that, with the right help, everyone is able to fulfill his/her potential and be the person he/she wants to be. We would like to be a part of this process - the process of success and happiness, the process of rising from our aches like a Phoenix rises from its ashes. Our team at Like a Phoenix uses different approaches (CBT, DBT, Faith based therapy, etc) to serve individuals (kids, teens and adults) and couples to build acceptance (Mindfulness and Distress Tolerance) and adaptation skills (Emotion Regulation and Interpersonal Effectiveness) so everyone will be able to find his/her strength to rise from his/her own aches, like a Phoenix. www.likeaphoenix.net
