Introduction

Here's a bit about who I am, and about what it's like to work with me. Healing is not about erasing the past but transforming its meaning. If you're feeling untethered by life’s transitions, carrying the weight of grief, or struggling to reclaim your sense of self after trauma, you don’t have to navigate this alone. At Lichen Counseling, I provide a warm, compassionate space where we don’t just process pain—we make meaning of it. Together, we’ll explore how to remove the sting from what has hurt you, giving you back the power to thrive. Why Lichen? Lichen is one of nature’s most resilient forces—thriving in even the harshest conditions. But its strength doesn’t come from standing alone. It exists only through interdependence, a powerful partnership that allows it to survive and create the foundation for new life to grow. Healing works the same way. We aren’t meant to do this alone. Therapy is a place where you can be seen, supported, and reminded of your own resilience. Just like lichen, you are strong, adaptable, and capable of thriving—not in isolation, but in connection. Who I Work With: 🌿 Individuals and couples 18 years and older 🌿 Perimenopausal Women – Supporting this transformative life stage's emotional and psychological shifts. 🌿 Major Life Transitions – Helping you navigate uncertainty, loss, identity shifts, and new beginnings. 🌿 Trauma Recovery – Exploring past wounds to create a path toward empowerment and healing. If you feel disconnected from yourself, your relationships, or your purpose, we will work together to reclaim your strength, rediscover meaning, and build a foundation for your next chapter. My Approach: I believe counseling is a collaborative process where you are heard and deeply understood. My style is compassionate, strength-based, and deeply engaged. I don’t just listen; I dig in with you, helping uncover the meaning behind your experiences so they no longer hold power over you. I am trained in: 💚 Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) – Supporting individuals and couples in creating secure, meaningful relationships. 💚 EMDR – A powerful, evidence-based approach for healing trauma and reclaiming your sense of safety. How We Can Work Together 🌀 Individual Therapy – A space to process, heal, and reconnect with your authentic self. 🌀 Couples Therapy – Deepening emotional connection, communication, and resilience in relationships. 🌀 In-Person & Telehealth – Sessions available in Bend, OR, or virtually across the state of Oregon. I have immediate availability and no waitlist. If you’re ready to begin, I would love to connect. Next Steps: Finding the right therapist is a deeply personal decision, and I honor the courage it takes to reach out. If you feel drawn to this work, let’s talk.
