I want to authentically know you, your relationships, & that weight you've been holding far too long. I'm a relational therapist, meaning I specialize in couples, families, & children. Whether we work individually or in a relational unit, I will always consider your family of origin, emotional bonds, & distinct culture as parts to a whole. Therapy is a brave way to honor you, connect with values, & experience your feelings safely & with compassion for every version of yourself that brought you here. Being you in a world that doesn't always celebrate uniqueness can be challenging & I will hold space for your identities to develop. My core identities are Lica, neurodivergent, mixed-ethnicity, queer, artist, forever learner, & teacher. I have a background in crisis work, reproductive health, sexuality research, assessment, & child-centered entertainment. I am passionate about neurodivergent families, socioeconomic disparities, navigating complex trauma, deconstructing current diagnosis, somatics, & pleasure-oriented couples therapy. I enjoy playing board games, making people laugh, & having genuine conversation. Transformative change is an intentional process. As a real human being with my own triumphs, I will always be kind but will never let you settle for a therapeutic process of stagnation.
