“Leyla is a graduate from Simmons College School of Social Work. Leyla has been trained in a variety of therapeutic frameworks. She has worked in a variety of settings including residential programs, school-based, outpatient settings,community health centers and early intervention programs. Leyla has extensive experience working with individuals who have experienced trauma. She is trained in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectic Behavioral Therapy, Grief Therapy, Emotional Freedom Tapping Technique, Attachment, Self Regulation, and Competency. Leyla is trained in treating perinatal mood disorders. She also has extensive experience in treating adults with mood disorders including depression, anxiety, and post traumatic stress disorder. Leyla uses clients inner strengths as a resource to help alleviate emotional discomfort. Leyla uses empathy as a driving technique in her therapeutic approach incorporating mindfulness into practice.
