Introduction

Hello! My name is Lexie and I am a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern in Florida. I am a graduate of Stetson University’s Counselor Education Program with advanced studies in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Play Therapy. During my time in graduate school, I worked with children, adolescents, and their families in a community counseling setting. I understand the importance of working with not only the client, but the client’s family as well. My approach is person-centered, focusing on building a trusting therapeutic relationship and tailoring treatment to meet each person's unique needs. I am committed to helping my clients navigate life's challenges and achieve personal growth. I strive to create a non-judgmental, accepting environment for my clients where they can trust themselves and learn more about their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I am passionate about working with my clients to help them gain a better understanding of themselves and reach their goals.
