¡Hola! I am a first-generation, bilingual therapist and the proud daughter of Mexican immigrants. My career passion lies in helping people reconnect with their abundant wisdom and learn new skills as they continue to navigate this messy, challenging and beautiful journey we call life. I am a proud ally of the LGBTQIA2S+ community. After being one of the first in my family to graduate high school, I went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree, double majoring in Psychology and Spanish from the University of California, Riverside in 2011. Two years later, I graduated with my Masters degree in Social Welfare, with a concentration in Mental Health from the University of California, Los Angeles. Since 2011, I have provided mental health services in various environments, such as mental health clinics, hospitals, home visits, correctional facilities, intimate partner violence shelters, shelters for the unhoused, and substance recovery treatment centers throughout Southern California. My career has presented me with the opportunities to work with individuals coping with anxiety, depression life transitions, relationship issues, intergenerational trauma, grief, imposter syndrome, and balancing conflicting values and priorities. I create and hold a safe space while practicing with culturally humble, gender affirming and trauma informed lenses. I keep my cup full by trying out new baking recipes, practicing yoga, running, hiking, and spending time with my loved ones, including two sweet dog babies, Gael and Benji (my co-therapists). Thank you for taking the time to stop by. I hope you celebrate and recognize your efforts in exploring new ways of showing up for yourself. I welcome the opportunity to support you on your journey.
