I am a licensed clinical professional counselor with 20+ years of child welfare, community mental health and intensive outpatient experience. I have worked with victims ranging in age from 6 years of age to seniors around trauma, anxiety, Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), self-esteem, depression, anger management, parenting, domestic abuse (survivors), as well as marital counseling. I have conducted trainings and presentations on Trauma, Human Development, Attachment, Working within Systems, Understanding Domestic Abuse vs. Anger Management, and Vicarious Trauma. I have received a certificate for 40 hours of Domestic Violence and Structured Psychotherapy for Adolescents Reacting to Chronic Stress (SP.A.R.C.S.). I currently enjoy working with Adults, Couples and families. I love what I do and welcome working with individuals who are looking for help and are willing to do what is needed to make significant changes in their lives. Together we can uncover what is holding you back from enjoying all that life has to offer, regain the love that might have been lost and discover a voice that has been silent. I attended both Howard University and Clark Atlanta University for my Bachelor’s before obtaining her Master’s Degree in Community Counseling from Chicago State University where I later taught Introduction to Psychology.
