With my strong belief that there is power in the alignment of mind body and spirit, and my 33 years of social work experience, I am confident that I can help you identify and tap into your own abilities and strengths so you can start feeling better about your life. I will help you learn new skills and techniques to break the negative cycle that keeps you discouraged and weary. Your therapy experience will help to remove the clouds of unhappiness, enabling you to see hope for your future, and feel relief, confident and refreshed. My clinical experience includes: anxiety and depression, stress management & coping, work life balance, aging and adjustment, family conflict, faith and religion, grief loss and bereavement, medical and end of life issues, immigration, prejudice and discrimination, women's issues. My therapy styles combine cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, person centered, psychodynamic, solution focused, motivational interviewing and mindfulness. I also provide the opportunity for emotional healing through Christian counseling for those who are receptive to this powerful tool, and feel ready to acknowledge God in the therapeutic process.
