Introduction

The mind is a beautiful place to explore, but sometimes it’s scary! It can feel like a great adventure learning to reframe old thinking patterns to change your and improve your life. It is a great honor and privilege to be trusted to go on this healing journey with you. I hold my Masters in Social Work (MSW) and have continued on to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I have worked in the mental health field in some type of position for the past 10 years. As a therapist, I have served all populations, including gerontology, families, substance use disorders, children, adolescents, inmates, first responders, and veterans. I continue to enjoy the variety in serving all populations. I am trained as a birth-to-five specialist, in Eye Movement De-sensation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Advanced Motivational Interviewing, and several other evidence-based models. I most often use these models in addition to Cognitive Behavioral Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. I believe that a trusting relationship can be the most impactful part of the therapeutic experience, and that is my first priority as your therapist. I look forward to going on this healing journey with you.
