My approach to therapy is informed by work, life, and educational experiences within community, child welfare, refugee resettlement, advocacy settings, and time abroad. I operate from an inclusive, affirming perspective. As a licensed clinical social worker with more than 10 years of experience, I provide psychotherapy to people of all identities and backgrounds that seek improved health. In addition to common clinical symptoms that arise in therapy (depression, anxiety, stress), I have advanced training and expertise in the treatment of traumatic stress and LGBTQIA+ needs, including gender affirming care. I am an EMDR Certified Therapist and take an eclectic approach that incorporates multiple modalities (EMDR, IFS, CBT) as needed to suit your personal interests & needs in therapy. I see clients located in NC and VA by telehealth. Whether you are seeking support with recovery from traumatic events, coping with symptoms of depression and anxiety, or navigating life transitions, therapy can help. Let's co-create a space that supports your personal growth and improved well-being!
