My hope is that the safe and supportive environment I seek to create will be a place where you can openly process difficult thoughts, feelings, and experiences without judgment. When you work with me in therapy, I will assist you in finding the TOOLS and SKILLS needed to live your life more effectively. I know that the challenges you may be facing right now can feel really big and overwhelming and I am here to sit with you in your pain and to help you make positive changes in your life, in part by accessing the wisdom and strength you already hold within. My communication style can be described as supportive yet direct. As a therapist, I try to hold a balance of VALIDATION and ACCEPTANCE while also encouraging you to make MOVEMENT toward your GOALS. I believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship and you can expect that I will value your input and ask what is and/or isn't working for you along the way. I enjoy working with ADULTS from all different walks of life, though I take special pleasure in working with ADHD & Autism Spectrum Disorder, Anxiety & Mood Disorders, Relationship Issues & Communication Difficulties, Life Transitions & Life Purpose, as well as Empaths & Highly Sensitive People. PLEASE NOTE: I do not provide on-call or crisis services and will not respond to an emergency. If you or someone you know is in need of immediate medical and/or psychiatric attention, please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room. GOOD FAITH ESTIMATE- Required Notice You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask your healthcare provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 1-800-985-3059.
