Leah is a Marriage and Family Therapist, who holds a BA in psychology from Wells College, MBA & MSW from Boston College and master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Medaille College. She works with couples addressing issues including conflict resolution, communication challenges, betrayal, and intimacy issues. She also works with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, stress management and self-esteem. Leah works to create a safe, accepting space in the therapy room for clients to explore complex issues. She knows that beginning therapy may be challenging and works to forge a transparent, trusting relationship with clients. She has a client-centered approach that puts emphasis on empowering people to address patterns of behavior that may be outdated, ineffective or unhealthy. Leah draws from a variety of theories with particular emphasis on solution focused interventions to help clients open their perspectives for a more healthy life. Leah works with individual and couples from diverse populations and draws on years of experience in social services as well as business to create a thoughtful, compassionate therapeutic relationship.
