I help individuals, couples, families, and executives improve their relationships to others and themselves. I combine insight, mindfulness, and experiential models of therapy to increase awareness of the process and patterns that keep people stuck and identify and implement new ways of being with themselves and others. I actively guide clients through different ways of thinking and communicating in session and will often assign “homework” to deepen this work outside of session. Trained at Northwestern University, I am an integrative and systemic therapist who pulls from a number of different evidence-based models of therapy. I tailor treatment in a way that is best suited to my clients' needs and personalities. Sessions can range from practical problem solving to body-based meditations. However, all research shows that your relationship with your therapist is the biggest predictor of therapeutic success. Effective therapy requires clients to feel at ease with their therapist. To foster that environment, I aim to be bring compassion, curiosity, cultural sensitivity, warmth, and humor to our work. I work passionately alongside you to help uncover what is blocking you from accessing your own innate wisdom. Therapy is a place to widen the lens of understanding of both the problems you face and the potential solutions for them.
