I believe that the process of healing begins through authentic and vulnerable connection with another. My counseling orientation is informed by attachment theory and the relational psychodynamic therapeutic model which looks at patterns of relating from early life up to the present. I offer genuine involvement where there is an ongoing invitation to explore deep issues and concerns. In order for a person to grow one’s ability to engage distress and discord within oneself and with other people, I believe that a relational model offers direction in entering resistant places for the potential of personal healing and development.
