Introduction

Military and law enforcement professionals experience unthinkable atrocities on a daily basis. This repeated trauma has a compounding effect that often results in awful sleep patterns, injured relationships, faltering job performance, substance abuse, volatile anger, and suicide. If you’re one of these every-day heroes who faces emotional barriers, Lauren Rich will equip you with the tools to take back control so that you can kick trauma’s ass, find peace, and recapture the joy of living. As the spouse of a combat veteran, Lauren has experienced firsthand the challenges that are faced when a warrior returns home from a battlefield. For nearly 7 years at the Department of Veterans Affairs and 3 years in private practice, Lauren has been assisting military and law enforcement professionals as they work through their internal anguish. With her help, they develop a personal ops plan that puts them on a path to living in calmness and peace. A nationally recognized speaker and consultant, Lauren is proud to have collaborated with the U.S. Air Force, and the Department of the Army. In addition, she has worked closely with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center, and VALOR Recovery Program.
