I have been in the field of mental health for 15 years. I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults with various issues including: depression, anxiety, anger issues, social skills, communication skills and general coping skills. I also have many years of experience working with adults who have experienced trauma, substance use and severe mental health diagnoses. I use a variety of different approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy, person centered, mindfulness, strength based perspective, motivational interviewing and harm reduction. I am also trained in Brain Spotting, a tool used to help identify and heal underlying trauma that contributes to anxiety, depression and other behavioral conditions. My goal is to help clients develop confidence in coping with the ever-changing world around them.
