I am a depth clinician who specializes in working with athletes and high-performing individuals. I work with clients to address a variety of concerns including: managing pressure and expectations in professional sport, retirement from sport – elective or forced, performance anxiety, overthinking, coping with injury, gender identity and competition, loss of motivation/joy for the sport, and body image/eating disorder concerns. As a high-performance coach and athlete for 20 years, I understand that a life in sport can be deeply rewarding and profoundly challenging. My work is informed by Jungian and archetypal psychology, Internal Family systems, and Gestalt therapy. I have additional training in trauma treatment, and four years of experience leading eating disorder support groups at the Center for Balanced Living, a leading ED treatment center in Ohio. I am empathic and lighthearted. I discovered depth psychology through my own development. I found the approach transformative and deeply impactful. Depth work is a process, much like becoming a great athlete. Through this process my clients become more of who they are meant to be, both on the field and off.
