Introduction

You skid to the end of another day totally fried. Your shoulders and jaw are tight with familiar anxiety, your head buzzing from the endless demands. Simultaneously wired and tired, it doesn’t feel like you can ever catch a break, catch your breath, or catch up on laundry! Work makes you angry. The news makes you hopeless. Your partner reaches for you when you arrive home… you long for the connection but flinch at the contact. Another evening passes by collapsed in front of the TV, wondering what’s the point of all this and where the heck do you belong? The pain and stress you feel aren’t made-up or coming out of nowhere. You are feeling the weight of the modern world. Your body knows the impact of unresolved past traumas, of being a queer body in what often feels like a hostile environment, of trying to keep everyone around you happy and calm, of giving your all to jobs that don’t care about you in return, of trying to build a future for yourself on what feels like really shaky ground … the struggle is real! You deserve a progressive approach to mental health that incorporates your embodied experience, creativity, resilience, and awareness of the larger societal context within which you exist. My work is queer-centered and celebrating, body and sex-positive, and oriented around anti-oppression. Life has not been easy, and maybe you’ve been thrown way off course. But a painful past does not have to mean a painful future. We will work together re-ground into your body, identity, and true desires so that you can navigate life’s challenges with confidence and clarity. It is possible to find joy, pleasure, and meaning within it all. Time to come back home to yourself. Send me a message now, and we will schedule a free 20 minute consultation call to talk about what you need and see if we’re a good fit.
