Introduction

Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Social working in VA, DC, and MD, and a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor in VA. I have worked for over 10 years providing psychotherapy through the community organizations and private practices to help people make changes and live a life of peace. In 2022 I started "Peaceful Mind Solutions" to reach even more people by providing psychotherapy virtually from the comfort of your own home. I specialize in treatment of adults and adolescents who struggle with anxiety, depression, anger, stress, drug or alcohol use, life-family-job-school related stress, and what I call "transitional life issues". This includes things like changes in our life that might cause temporary or long-term stress, like separation or divorce, changing career, new children, moving, etc. If you are seeking help in other areas, just ask and let me see if I, or one of my team members can help you! We use collaborative treatment planning and evidence-based practices to help you make changes in your life at a pace that makes sense for you. This includes techniques like CBT, DBT, Mindfulness, and Motivational Interviewing.
