Introduction

Hi & welcome! My work as a counselor is centered on a belief that all people are capable, resilient, and strong (even my littlest clients - I work with kids 5 yrs and up), but sometimes there are moments in life when we don’t feel that way. I'm passionate about helping clients and families find empowerment and create peace. I help my clients build stronger and more stable relationships where generational experiences with mental health challenges have previously caused struggles. Let's work to understand how growing up with your specific experiences might have impacted the adult or parent that you are today. Together, we can work to break harmful cycles that prevent you from being the best version of yourself. Let's find tools for you to decrease stress and manage overwhelming feelings. I utilize an affirmative, strengths-based approach to customize a plan to meet your unique needs. I encourage my clients to let me know how I can provide the safest space for them to be their most authentic selves. I teach strategies for communication including expressing feelings effectively and emotional regulation skills that help you solve problems in day to day life.
