I am a therapist with over a decade of experience helping clients navigate life’s challenges. I have a deep commitment to providing compassionate, evidence-based care, particularly for BIPOC folks and LGBTQ+, and gender-expansive people seeking support for anxiety, depression, and trauma, including the complex layers of generational trauma. I earned a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Howard University and a Master of Science in Social Work from Columbia University. I have experience across diverse settings, including Veterans Affairs, community-based outpatient centers, and college counseling centers. My approach to therapy is rooted in trauma-informed care. I utilize a range of evidence-based therapeutic practices, including: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). This allows me to tailor interventions to the unique needs of clients, fostering growth, resilience, and healing.
