Welcome—I’m glad you’re here. I’m Dr. Lauren Hunter, a Licensed Professional Counselor and existential psychotherapist based in New Orleans. I specialize in working with adults navigating grief, aging, identity shifts, and life’s deeper questions. In addition to my work as a psychotherapist, I'm also an adjunct professor at Loyola University New Orleans and I regularly death the Study of Death and Dying. My approach is warm, grounded, and relational. I believe in creating space for honest reflection, meaningful connection, and the kind of conversations that help you come home to yourself. Whether you’re facing a transition, wrestling with uncertainty, or simply longing for something more authentic, you don’t have to navigate it alone. Therapy can be a place to slow down, listen inward, and discover what matters most. If you're curious about working together, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.
