I am a licensed Marriage & Family Therapist and work with individuals and couples looking for support in relationship challenges, emotional pain, grief and loss, and life transitions including career changes and the birth or adoption of a new child. Years ago, I served as a "doula" or birth partner for a dear friend, and it was a life changing experience for me. I attended multiple additional births of friends and family members over the years, and I found this emotional support role to be a rich and rewarding one. This prompted me to transition from my career as an attorney to one as a therapist. I work with both birthing and non-birthing partners before, during and after a new baby joins the family to prevent and treat perinatal mood disorders as well as to provide support through the transformation of identity that often accompanies a new addition to the family. I also work with clients who face challenges with infertility, adoption, and loss. I am a trained doula, and I completed Postpartum Support International’s Maternal Mental Health Certificate Course. I look forward to hearing your story, understanding your unique perspective, and supporting you in becoming who you want to be.
