Introduction

Hello! I'm Lauren. I've been practicing since I graduated from UNC Charlotte in 2017. My ideal client wants help finding meaning and fulfillment in their lives and is pursuing personal growth. They want to put their authentic selves into the world instead of the self that is masked by anxiety and depression or their current stressors. They want to learn to connect with themself and others and feel less alone. They want to learn to manage the obstacles that life throws at them and strengthen their resilience as a result. I am licensed in both North Carolina and South Carolina and I am currently accepting new individuals and couples. I offer support through difficult life transitions, help build confidence and improve communication skills like assertiveness and boundary setting. I approach couples therapy using the Gottman method. I specialize in Alzheimer's, dementia, and caregiving. My approach incorporates cognitive behavioral and acceptance commitment techniques. As a therapist, I aim to be authentic, accepting, and honest. I genuinely enjoy helping others learn to love themselves and find meaning and joy in their lives. If you want to gain insight, build confidence, and make positive changes in your life, contact me to schedule a session.
