Introduction

Life often presents us with a myriad of challenges that can unsettle our sense of balance and stability. During times of stress and uncertainty, seeking additional support can be immensely beneficial. Through the therapeutic process, I strive to create a nurturing and motivating environment where self-discovery can flourish. Whether you’re grappling with anxiety, navigating relationship issues, adjusting to life changes, or battling depression, I am committed to working collaboratively with you to foster the insights you seek. My areas of expertise include working with adolescents, couples, families, trauma survivors, individuals experiencing life transitions, anxiety, depression, and those within alternative family structures and the LGBTQIA+ community. As a therapist, my approach is compassionate, supportive, and goal-oriented. I draw from a diverse array of therapeutic techniques, customizing each approach to suit the unique needs of my clients. My focus is on empowering you with practical coping strategies that you can integrate into your daily life. I have received training from renowned experts such as John & Julie Gottman, earning certification in Gottman Method couples counseling. Additionally, I continuously seek out additional training to enhance my skills in relationship counseling, trauma therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), anxiety management, and mindfulness practices. Currently, I offer therapy sessions through teletherapy. Previously, I have worked as a mental health therapist in various educational settings, serving students across four school districts and within the private school sector. I hold a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from John F. Kennedy University, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of California at Santa Cruz. Additionally I am certified in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.
