Introduction
My ideal client is someone who is struggling and wants to improve. I love working with people with anxiety disorders, those with anger, and/or have a particular behavior they want to change or eliminate. I have twenty years helping incarcerated individuals and understand the trauma and challenges of post incarceration and transitioning into society. I also work with people who struggle with controlling their tendencies to engage in DV/IPV and do this non-judgmentally and compassionately to help you understand your behavior while creating healthier methods of expressing yourself so you can be the partner and parent you want to be. I use ACT, acceptance and commitment therapy. We'll work in the present moment, not the past. l can help you learn to accept those difficult and aversive thoughts and feelings which are getting in the way of an enriched life.
