Being a therapist for 24+ years has taught me a few things about how we as humans can successfully navigate life and relationships. Resilience, validation, and radically accepting the "happy and crappy" moments in life are skills all of us can benefit from. In our work together, we will tackle your struggles and establish plan using components of Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). My experience has allowed me to work with children, teens, adults, couples and families. Family systems and learning to communicate effectively as a family, or in any relationship, is a passion of mine. Clients have told me that they appreciate my calm demeanor, my use of humor, and my "say it like it is" style. Progress can start today and willingness is the first step. I look forward to meeting you and taking that first step!
